Our passion is to serve people in encountering God through sung worship. We believe that God delights in His people praising him when they gather together and that He presences Himself by His Spirit in a particular way as we sing to Him. Gathered worship can be an awesome place of transformation, growth, renewal, commissioning as we surrender afresh to God and He speaks to us and gives His Spirit anew.
This is what drives us and what shapes our work. We want to give ourselves to leading the church to experience the God we read about and hear about - to write songs that resource and fund such wonder and praise - to help others to do likewise.
Nick J Drake
Nick has been Director of Music & Creative Arts at St Paul's Hammersmith since 2003. Besides being a musician, Nick is a keen theologian having gained a 1st class degree from Durham and a distinction in his recent Masters from Kings College, London. Becky Drake
Becky was lead singer in band 'Coastal Dune' before becoming a worship leader at St Paul’s Hammersmith. She has worked for 6 years in the city as a communications professional. Together with Nick, Becky has produced two albums of all age worship: Big Family Of God (2008) and God Is Here (2010), both released on the Elevation label.
